When it comes to working out, you need to have the right gear to wear. Having the right gear to wear can support your workout efforts and make it easier to reach your workout goals. Women's leggings are one of the most popular types of athletic bottoms. There are three different cuts of athletic leggings are all great for different types of workout and needs.
Cut #1: Full-Length
Full-length leggings go all the way down to your ankles. You can even find full-length leggings that have little straps on the bottom so that your leggings will stay pulled down. Full-length leggings are great when you are working out in the winter and want to stay warm. People enjoy full-length leggings throughout the year. If you like to have full coverage, full-length leggings are the best choice.
Cut #2: Capri Length
Capri length leggings go down to just below your knee. They are a great compromise if you want to be able to move around easily, but don't want to wear shorts. Capri-length leggings provide you with lots of flexibility while at the same time providing you with lots of coverage, so you don't have to worry about your bottoms riding up when you are working out. Capri length leggings are great for running, biking, and even doing yoga in.
Cut #3: Cropped Length
Next, there are cropped length leggings. Cropped length leggings are designed to fit right around your mid-calf. Some people prefer bottoms that don't fit right around the knee as they don't' find that fit very comfortable. Leggings that fit around the calf provide a little more coverage and can be more comfortable to move around in. Cropped length leggings are great for yoga, dancing, and other activities where you are moving around a lot. They keep you covered up, don't tend to move around, and can even provide you with a little compression.
Full-length leggings are great if you want to stay warm. Capri length is great if you want a little more coverage than you would get with shorts, but you want a full range of motions. Cropped length leggings provide for movement for active exercise.
When you choose athletic leggings, be sure to consider the fabric as well. Cotton leggings are not good for high sweat workouts, like running, and work well when doing weightlifting workouts. Polyester and spandex blinds are better at removing sweat and best for more active workouts.
